The artifact I chose to showcase Advanced Computer Applications in Education is an infographic poster. The poster outlines a project called Person of Interest. I use this poster as a part of a curriculum unit in my World Geography course as a 9th grade teacher. Web 2.0 tools like Piktochart (web tool used to create the infographic) allow students to visualize core concepts of the unit and what important pieces they must include to be success and produce a quality product. Tools like this one are ever flowing into educational realms and allowing students and teachers to reinvent their understanding and learning experiences.
