Oh how we all love to play. For my gamified lesson, I targeted working with students on the critical reading process. The Critical Reading Process describes the steps a student should take in order to effectively read and analyze a text. To a large extent, student college-readiness can be measured by how well a student can navigate through then talk and write about rigorous texts. To prepare them for that level of intellectual engagement, we must model, teach and practice the Critical Reading Process.
